Message from Aisha Bint-e-Siraj
As an English language educator, academic leader, public speaking trainer, and debate adjudicator, I bring six years of teaching experience to my work. I currently serve as the Academic Coordinator of O Levels at The City School, Jinnah Campus, Hyderabad. I hold a BS in English with a specialisation in Applied Linguistics from the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, where I ranked at the top of my class for four consecutive years.
As a Cambridge-certified O Level and A Level English instructor, I have gained extensive experience in academic coordination, curriculum implementation, student leadership, debating, and communication training. I am an alumna of the Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network, a certified English Access MicroScholarship Program and English Works! teacher, an American English Live Series 17 Ambassador, and a participant in the Professional Development for Global Classrooms (PGCC) 2025 programme. I have also led educational initiatives, including the ChangeX SDG Conference 2026, and mentored students in debating and Model United Nations.
As Chief Advisor of WMwrites, my vision is to help build a community where young writers can find their authentic voices, express their ideas with confidence, and engage thoughtfully with the world. I believe writing is more than an academic skill; it is a means of self-expression, empathy, and meaningful change. Through mentorship and creative exploration, I hope to nurture thoughtful, articulate, and socially conscious individuals who understand the power and responsibility of words.
